Gifts from our Ancestors, 120” x 120”. Boats floating in from the “ other side”, as altars for the dead and bearing gifts. Burlap boats, gold paint, dirt and glitter flowers. An installation for the Day of the Dead at SOMARTS Gallery in collaboration with Ellen Vogel, 2009.
